The Strip District

Ryan, Wesley, Christian
Saturday, October 8th

It was a rainy Saturday morning but that did not diminish the awesomeness of the strip district. We met up around 10:30 to take the 54 bus outbound towards the strip. there were still decent amounts of people in the streets shopping at all the little shops and booths. the smells and sounds were all very overtaking, the architecture was very cool, and the streets were lively. collectively we agreed this was one of our coolest experiences so far in pittsburgh.

The first buildings we saw were run-down and old, but the architecture of them was cool

But as we moved down the street the buildings got newer and nicer

The Strip district is a cultural hub and contains shops of many different nationalities
(oriental)

(Polish)
(Vietnamese)

(Greek, Italian, Middle-Eastern)
(Thai)

(American)
(Mexican)

The Strip contained many cool stands and shops

fresh baked stuff

farmers markets

Steelers Stores on every corner!

Famous Pittsburgh restaurants

Street performers

Murals

Overall an up-and-coming area in the city
