Welcome

Everyone must post. You can not cut and paste text from the web.  However, you are encouraged to explore the web, and the history of your particular neighborhood.  Just make certain that you give proper credit to your sources.  Always!  No plagiarism!

Further, there must be some sort of picture of everyone in your group.  So we know you all were there, of course!  Give us some cool snapshots of the neighborhood you visit as well.

You can choose any sort of style of posting you want. Just don't wrt in irtating txt spk. Be whimsical or be serious. Be a blogger. Tell us about your experience. Be formal or informal, chatty or classical. Whatever it takes. What impressions sit with you? What did you learn? What would be useful for someone to know?

Talk to someone in your assigned neighborhood. Talk to store owners.  Why not?  Ask them questions. How long have they been around? What are their histories? Their struggles? Get them talking. Why should anyone care? Find out. Talk to other people. Ask questions. Ask each other what questions you could ask. Look around. What do you want to know about? How come?

Be curious. Investigate. Come back and sell that neighborhood to the class. Help each other out. Help me out. Help yourselves out.

And have fun. Pittsburgh is without a doubt a really interesting up-and-coming vibrant city. Do it justice.
